Theresa Tobin Macy, CPDMT

Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, Theresa Tobin Macy spent twenty-three years in the medical field where she gained experience in small business management and developed innumerable skills in patient/client relations.  She began in the dental profession as a CDA/RDA (Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant). She spent the majority of her time in the field as an office manager for over fifteen years at a general dentistry practice. She completed extensive continuing education coursework in the areas of practice management, patient safety, marketing, staff training, goal setting and incentives programs, infection control, managing medical emergencies, first aid and CPR,  HIPPA and OSHA requirements.
When her decision was made to change careers, she chose the field of massage and bodywork to employ and advance her past clinical and practice management skills.
Theresa Macy is a graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in Oaks PA. She is a Certified Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapist and joined the faculty of the Pfrimmer Institute in 2006.  She currently serves on both the International Association and Pennsylvania Association of Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy. Theresa's practice, Advanced Corrective Therapies, is located in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
